Transportation barriers can separate people from services, work, healthcare, friendships, and community life. United Hands improves access through authorized program transportation and separately arranged non-emergency transportation.
Our adult day services offer a welcoming, structured place to build relationships, enjoy purposeful activities, receive help with daily routines, share meals, and stay connected to the community.
Transportation With Care
Transportation may include HCS supported home living transportation, TxHmL community support transportation, transportation connected to other authorized services, or separate non-emergency arrangements. Availability depends on the plan, route, schedule, accessibility and support needs, vehicle capacity, funding source, and staffing.
A Day Built Around Connection and Purpose
Adult day participants may enjoy social activities, exercise, music, games, storytelling, life-skills learning, nutrition education, creative expression, community outings, and opportunities to build confidence. Each person’s needs are reviewed before admission to confirm that support can be delivered safely and responsibly.
