Our expanded HCS and TxHmL services connect daily living support, community participation, and residential options, respite, nursing, professional therapies, behavioral support, employment services, transportation, and practical resources through a one-person-centered approach.

HCS offers a broad range of services for eligible people with intellectual disabilities or related conditions, including residential and in-home options, individualized skills and socialization, respite, nursing, therapies, behavioral support, employment services, adaptive aids, minor home modifications, dental treatment, and transition assistance.
TxHmL provides essential supports for eligible people who live in their own home or family home. Services may include community support, individualized skills and socialization, respite, nursing, therapies, behavioral support, employment services, adaptive aids, minor home modifications, and dental treatment.
The services a person receives are based on eligibility, assessed need, the person-directed plan, the authorized individual plan of care, and provider capacity.

Individualized skills and socialization should lead to a fuller life—not simply fill a schedule. United Hands creates opportunities to practice communication, self-care, cooking, money management, safety, decision-making, social skills, employment readiness, volunteering, recreation, and community participation.
Activities are connected to each individual’s goals and adapted to their strengths, interests, mobility, communication style, sensory needs, and level of support.
