socialization, adult day, residential, in-home, clinical, employment, and community supports.
We exist to help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities live with dignity, choice, safety,
purpose, and meaningful connection. Our work is grounded in a simple conviction: people thrive when
Support is built around who they are—not when they are expected to fit into a system.
From Daytime Care to a Continuum of Support.
United Hands was created to give adults a welcoming place to learn, build relationships, participate in the community, and experience days filled with purpose. As families shared their needs and hopes, our vision grew.
Today, United Hands brings together HCS and TxHmL services with individualized skills and socialization, adult day programming, residential and in-home supports, respite, nursing, therapies, behavioral support, employment services, transportation, and practical assistance.
Our services have expanded, but the heart of the organization has remained the same: know the person, honor the person, and help each person move toward the life they choose.
